What is an MOT Test?
A Ministry of Transport (MOT) test is a required annual assessment done to assess a car’s safety, road worthiness, and emissions. It is required by law within the UK for all cars that are three or more years old. An MOT test ensures that your vehicle is safe for you, your passengers, and other road users.
MOT checks and testing can only be carried out by garages that are officially certified by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), formally known as Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA). You will not be able to legally drive on UK roads if you do not have a valid and up to date MOT certificate. This may also result in getting your insurance invalidated.

A Class 5 MOT is for vehicles that can seat more than 13 passengers, such as minibuses. The Class 7 MOT is for goods vehicle that can carry 3,000kg to 3,500kg. We offer our customers a free collection and delivery service. If in the event that your vehicle fails the MOT test, we will offer a free retest within 10 working days from the original test date.
